Thanks for sharing your feelings, it sounds like a lot and also totally understandable. The rejection piece 🧩 feels most painful and I’d like to encourage you to stay with and track the experience around that core wound. I see you’re doing a good job staying anchored in gratitude, so it’s ok to really sit in the hard feelings, it will help with the self forgiveness. This is a powerful moment of alchemy, just being with and naming the feelings. Be the cauldron, container for the medicine bubbling and chaotically frothing around over the heat of the flame 🔥 of truth.
Be the loving parent to your inner children, who have been neglected and emotionally abandoned.
Mother Earth: Welcome to the planet. Welcome to existence. Everyone’s here. Everyone’s here.
Little Luna, Little Stephen, we are going to have a tea party! I have some friends I would like you to meet. We are going to have some Ginger Peach tea and we can play and cry and laugh together. We can even have a conversation, if you feel like it. Does that sound good?
Little Luna: What if I don’t feel like it? Can we just make stuff?
Mother Earth: Of course, Luna! It’s your life. You can do anything you like. How about you, Stephen?
Little Stephen: I don’t know. I’m tired.
Mother Earth: Have a good nap then. We will start the party whenever you are ready.
I will keep your friends company while we wait. We will be here whenever you are ready to play.
I will make some cards and place settings for everyone, so we all know where to sit and to make sure there is room enough for everyone.
Little Luna: Look what I made? A tetrahedron, an octahedron, an icosahedron, a cuboctahedron, and a two- and a three-frequency truncated icosahedron.
Mother Earth: Wonderful! They are so beautiful! That’s just the way I like to make things.
Little Stephen: I’m bored.
Mother Earth: How was your nap, Stephen!
Little Stephen: It was okay. I kept waking up, but I just wanted to sleep.
Mother Earth: Oh. Do you have something on your mind?
Little Stephen: No one wants to play.
Mother Earth: Did you ask them if they wanted to play?
Little Stephen: Well, not exactly.
Mother Earth: Maybe we can have a party, then.
Little Luna: Can I come, too?
Mother Earth: Of course, Luna. I made a guest list and sent out all the invitations. And guess what?
Little Luna and Little Stephen: What?
Mother Earth: They would all be delighted to come. Look! They all sent letters and pictures and all sorts of presents, too! Come see!
Little Luna: Oh, yes! Yes, please.
Mother Earth: Let’s wait until they all arrive, and then we can open up the gifts at the party.
Little Stephen: Do we have to wait? Can’t we open them now?
Mother Earth: Each of our guests would like to give their presents in person. Would that be okay, Stephen? I think they each have a special message for you.
Look how many guests are coming! Isn’t this exciting! We might have to throw a feast. Then, we can take our time.
